Hobby Lobby- Runs 50% off on their glassware at least once per month.
Michael's- Normally has a 40-50% off coupon each week off one item. You can go as many times as needed if you have a store close by.
Ross/TJ Max/ Marshall's- Check your local discount stores. I find a lot at Ross in the home decor or vase aisles. I normally just browse that whole section. Each store puts them different places. They are a steal $7-$15 for the nice apothecary jars. Worth the hunt!
Walmart- Check the vase and cookie jar area. Their tiered clear cookie jars work great and are very cheap!
DIY- A regular jar with lid can be turned into a beautiful apothecary type jar by simply gluing a glass candle stick to the bottom.
